Spotted recently the answer to the farmer who just can't leave his Triking alone !
PRESENT: Apologies; too many to list several members were away on their holidays! Despite this 16 people attended the meeting. This included 2 sidecars, 1 trike and 4 or 5 bikes + 2 cars Many thanks to Tracey who could not supply the usual roast as she was in London but left an able deputy in her place who provided bar snacks for the assembled members. Matters arising Reminder from the national committee about volunteers for security at the Treffen. Some discussion about the region doing their bit but this was felt that it had to be up to the individuals concerned rather than any cohersion of members! Mention was made of the Sew Designs company which will undertake many jobs. Don’t forget the region have their own firm called Ravenspring at Totnes. (New members, Please see link on For Sale page, ask for Ann) Cullompton Show 27th June; Some discussion about time of leaving. As the time had already been published 10.30am is the leaving time from Exeter services. Other members may wish to meet at the Novotel. Marsh Mills at 9.15am Pat’s letter to businesses; Pat has sent out 25 letters to local places and has so far had three replies; Trewlaney Garden centre/Heligan/Newquay Zoo. Many thanks to Pat. She will past any information she gets back to Brian so he can put them on the website for a bit of publicity. Any other info to Brian at any time. The region will assemble in Wadebridge on Saturday 17th July for a static display leaflet drop to advertise the Treffen. Details of timings later. Barney’s cream tea run on Sunday 18th July will leave Jamaica Inn at 10.30am to ride about 80miles and assemble for tea at Barney’s around 3pm. Andrew circulated the design for the Treffen t-shirt that was approved by the committee. Members were generally in favour.   Thanks to Mary Deacon for the Minutes

DATES and EVENTS Bill’s calendar Bill could do with some firmer details about Smokey Joes meetings particularly for new members. Pat said the best advice was still to ring her. Anyone wanting to make their way there by the ‘pretty way’ should meet at Tamar Bridge Car Park by 6.15pm 27 June – Cullompton Show, meet at Exeter Services to LEAVE at 10.30am. 11 Dec – early notice of the Christmas Dinner and Dance at the Hotel Bristol Newquay.
