Saturday 19th/Sunday 20th February 2011 - The Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset, BA4 6QN. Several members attend on an individual basis – weather being suitable a group will ride up from Plymouth. In the event of inclemment weather we will most likely car share – Tickes £10 on the gate £9 online in advance.

Details: The Rose and Crown Motorcycle Show and Meet, Saturday 16th July, at the Rose and Crown, Sandford, Crediton, Devon. EX17 4NH. (Tel 01363772056). Trophies for different classes of motorcycles, live bands, including the well known rock band House of Kane, BBQ and Bar, cream teas and full pub facilities. A good laid back and chill out afternoon for bikers, families and the general public. All proceeds to Devon Air Ambulance Trust.
1pm to 6pm. Entry is £2.00 per bike and rider and £1.00 per pillion rider or on foot, under 16’s free. All welcome.

UPDATES AND FORTHCOMING EVENTS

ESRAD - we have been asked to restrict the bike on the field to 6 (or so) these will need to be on the field by 10am and are likely to be locked in until 4pm. General bike parking is I believe in front of the Leisure centre. So far bikes on are John, Rob, Mike, Andrew, Dave and myself. If you particularly want to be on the field let me know and I will arrange with the organisers. Andrew is bringing his trailer and gazebo.

Cardinham - for any new members and friends the way things generally work is that everyone brings a disposable barbie, a few sausages (or whatever) and something for the general table (coleslaw, potato salad, pasta). Weather could be in plentiful supply. The meeting will happen at some point. This might be an ideal opportunity for kites?!? We shall aim to be at Cardinham for 12.00 noon. Anyone fancying going the pretty way should meet at the Tamar Bridge Car Park by 10.30 am.

We decided that we would not bother with Cullompton and instead go to the Holsworthy show. Holsworthy entry form attached but it is OK to just turn up. They do a Best Goldwing Trophy.

Reminder - Exmouth World of Country Life -Sandy Bay. The entry fee of £3 is a considerable concession on the normal entry fee. Entry form attached
